AWS/CES is looking for a Machinist / Toolmaker – Afternoon Shift

St. Thomas, ON

Pay Rate: $36.00 - $42.00 per hour (based on skills and experience)

Shift Premium: $1.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain machining equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Manufacture, repair, and modify tooling and machine components
• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues
• Ensure quality standards and production requirements are met
• Follow all safety and quality procedures

Required Qualifications

• Machinist or Toolmaker experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong blueprint reading and machining skills
• Experience with tool and die maintenance, repair, and fabrication
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Must-Have Skill

CNC Programming experience using Mastercam
