Part-Time Long-Term Nanny-Housekeeper / Mother’s Helper Needed Start Date: Flexible / Can start with a few days a week and ramp up Location: Etobicoke — Sunnylea neighborhood (Prince Edward Dr S & Berry Rd) Compensation: Competitive salary and ability to provide payroll *Note: Driving is a huge asset for our family and additional compensation will be considered for the right driving candidate.* We are a warm, loving, and busy family of four looking for a proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented **Part-Time Nanny / Housekeeper** to become an integral part of our family. Mom is currently on maternity leave until the end of the year, so this role begins as a collaborative partnership and will transition into supporting us as she returns to work. Our children are incredibly affectionate and sweet, and we are truly seeking a long-term fit—someone who wants to build a strong bond with our kids and grow with our family for years to come. Children: Daughter - Social, energetic and loving 2.5 / 3 years old; Son: Very active 10 months old. Schedule & Hours: Monday to Friday: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM (25 hours/week). Weekends: Ability to occasionally support for a couple of hours on Saturdays or Sundays (with prior notice). About the Role & Key Responsibilities: This is a true hybrid role. Because parents will frequently be home during these evening hours, we need a **self-starter** who naturally takes initiative. If the parents are engaging with the kids, you will pivot to household tasks, and vice versa. Proactive Childcare & Developmental Support:

• Engaged Play - Step in to care for, feed, and engage both children in playful, meaningful activities after daycare and during evening routines. RECE or education background will be considered a huge asset.
• Developmental Focus: We are looking for someone focused on overall childhood development. You will help implement intentional, play-based strategies to support milestones, with a particular focus on encouraging speech, language acquisition, and communication through interactive play and reading.
• Proactive Care - Someone who stays one step ahead of the children's needs—proactively monitoring and tracking when diaper stashes are running low, managing toy rotations, or noticing when clothes are being outgrown or need seasonal shifting.

• Initiative-Driven Organization - Recognizing areas that need attention and taking charge—such as sorting and putting away items piled on the dining table, decluttering a messy cabinet, or organizing toy zones.
• Kitchen & Meal Upkeep - Occasionally handling light snack prep or meal prep for the family, but mostly focused on the kids, executing a thorough clean-up immediately following the kids' meal times (wiping highchairs, clearing dishes, cleaning the floor), and taking on occasional tasks like cleaning out the refrigerator.
• Cleaning - Keeping the house tidy, which includes making/changing bedsheets, tidying toys, and regular vacuuming and occasional swiffer of the floors to ensure a clean environment for the kids.
• Laundry: Managing the kids' and family laundry, including washing, folding, and neatly putting away clothes.

• Proven experience as a nanny, housekeeper, or mother's helper with a track record of long-term commitment. References within the last 3 years will be required. RECE or education background considered an asset. CPR trained and certified.
• A natural organizer who is detail-oriented and doesn't wait to be asked to tidy, declutter, vacuum, or jump in to play with the kids.
• Warm, loving, and passionate about childhood development and building deep relationships with children.
• Driving: A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and comfort with potentially driving both children is a huge asset.
