Senior Power Bi Data Architect
Krux Analytics Inc.
Design enterprise Power BI models and cloud data architecture in Calgary with a hybrid schedule at Krux, a mining SaaS company.Reporting to the Software Development Manager, this Data Architect builds infrastructure supporting multi-tenant analytics products. The work combines Tabular semantic modeling, DAX optimization, Power BI services, and analytical database performance. You will also guide architecture decisions, improve pipelines, and support stakeholders with scalable reporting.Key Responsibilities:
Design and maintain enterprise-scale Power BI tabular modelsArchitect scalable data models for multi-tenant SaaS analyticsOptimize DAX, aggregations, storage, and model performanceManage Power BI workspaces, pipelines, and securityPartner on ETL and data pipeline improvementsRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, technology, engineering, or related field10+ years developing data analytics solutionsExpertise in Power BI modeling and servicesExperience with high-performance databases for multi-tenant applicationsFamiliarity with Azure data services and development toolsBring Power BI, Tabular modeling, DAX optimization, and cloud database expertise to Krux’s Calgary analytics team.
