Optical Standards Business Development Manager

Lead optical connectivity growth for Molex as a fully remote Manager, using consultative selling and standards expertise with up to 70% travel. Shape solutions across enterprise, telecom, industrial, and emerging technology markets.

This Manager, Standards and Business Development role supports Molex’s Optical Solutions Business Unit. You will develop opportunities, understand customer applications, and align product roadmaps across global, cross-functional teams. The position combines business development, technical leadership, and industry standards engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as an optical connectivity subject matter expert
• Develop opportunities through customers, partners, and marketing programs
• Align customer needs with product development roadmaps
• Represent Molex in standards organizations and technical events
• Coordinate unified go-to-market strategies across product groups

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, or related field
• Experience leading standards, business development, sales, or account management
• Knowledge of fiber optic and electrical interconnects
• Experience in global, cross-functional environments
• Willingness to travel up to 70 percent globally
