Based at the Brain Health Imaging Centre, the PET Systems Engineer will be responsible for computer networking systems linked to medical and imaging equipment. Required responsibilities include developing computing environments, integrating software and hardware, and ensuring equipment performance through quality assurance. You'll play a pivotal role in maintaining and troubleshooting complex imaging systems and supporting a diverse team. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement computer networking systems
- Integrate software and hardware for imaging equipment
- Perform maintenance on cyclotrons and imaging systems
- Design quality assurance procedures for system optimization
- Promote radiation safety and institutional compliance
- Degree in applied physics or relevant engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medical imaging systems
- Proficiency in computer hardware setup and programming
- Knowledge of radiation safety regulations
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
