Step into a Senior Fund Accountant position with Sagard for a 6-month contract, focused on capital activity and investor reporting. Drive financial accuracy and compliance within a collaborative environment. You will be an integral part of the Finance organization, ensuring precise financial statements across multiple private equity and venture capital entities. This role centers on managing capital calls, distributions, and ensuring compliance with a multitude of regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage quarterly financial statements and investor reporting
- Supervise fund accounting including reconciliations and valuations
- Coordinate with tax consultants for compliance filings
- Collaborate on fund launches and automate processes
- Handle internal and external stakeholder communications
- 3+ years in fund accounting, ideally in private markets
- Bachelor’s in finance or a related field
- CA / CPA preferred
- Strong multitasking capabilities and detail-oriented
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
