Become an integral part of Alberta Education as a Regulatory Community Advisor in Edmonton. This full-time opportunity focuses on maintaining high standards in educator conduct and regulatory processes.
You will provide technical advice on regulatory issues, assess complaints against teachers, and support strategic regulatory excellence in Alberta’s education system. Your insight will help shape operational policies and make impactful decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze complaints regarding teacher conduct thoroughly
• Draft regulatory advice in alignment with legal frameworks
• Evaluate relevant reports from investigations and mediations
• Participate in appeal hearings guided by leadership
• Assist in informing executive decisions on educational policies
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related discipline
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in regulatory roles
• Exceptional analytical and writing skills
• Knowledge of legal standards in education
• Skilled in Microsoft 365 and related technologies
Your expertise will help advance the regulatory framework of Alberta’s teaching profession.
