We are seeking a warm, reliable, and experienced nanny to join our household and care for our 1-year-old child. The ideal candidate will be passionate about child development, proactive in daily routines, and capable of creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a family-oriented setting and is committed to supporting children's well-being and growth. Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Genuine love for children and nurturing personality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate practices
• Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently
• Patience, creativity, and a sense of responsibility
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Up-to-date on vaccinations (including flu and Tdap; COVID-19, TB test)
• Non-smoker
• Reliable transportation to and from the job
• Background check required

Childcare Duties:

• Provide attentive and loving care for a 1-year-old throughout the day
• Create a safe and stimulating environment for the children
• Maintain a consistent routine including the following:

Naps, changing diapers, child’s bathing, dressing, brushing teeth, sunscreen application (when necessary), and general well being

• Planning meals, preparing food, and feeding the children
• Children’s laundry (wash, fold and put away)
• Cleaning up after meals
• Teach child good social manners
• Arranging playdates and outings
• Indoor and outdoor play
• Educational activities and crafts
• Organizing children’s bedrooms / playroom toys / clothing
• Reading to the children
• Walking, carpooling, or driving the children to school, activities or playdates

In addition to childcare, we are looking for someone who can help us daily housekeeping and keeping us organized. We would like our nanny to help with:

• General housekeeping (as time permits or on days not responsible for the children)
• Keeping rooms tidy
• Cleaning kitchen & floors
• Household laundry
• Meal prep for family
