Michael Garron Hospital
Ensure safety at Michael Garron Hospital as a Protection Agent, safeguarding patients, staff, and visitors. This role requires strong conflict resolution skills and a valid security guard license. As a Protection Agent at Michael Garron Hospital, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of everyone on the premises. This position demands previous security experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of relevant laws. You will engage with various individuals and work diligently to protect hospital property and community well-being. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure security for staff and hospital occupants
- Handle conflicts effectively and apply de-escalation techniques
- Prepare detailed reports of incidents and observations
- Operate CCTV and DVR systems when necessary
- Adhere to health and safety policies and promote a safe environment
- High School Diploma required; college diploma preferred
- Valid Security Guard license from the Ministry
- CPR and First Aid certifications required
- Experience in a healthcare security setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and computer skills
