Manager, Cybersecurity - Contract

We are seeking an experienced and highly technical Cybersecurity Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who thrives in a player‑coach capacity, balancing strategic leadership responsibilities with active technical execution. The successful candidate will lead cybersecurity initiatives while remaining deeply involved in day‑to‑day operations, incident response, infrastructure security, identity and access management, and technical problem‑solving. This position requires an individual who is comfortable operating in highly regulated, security‑sensitive environments and can contribute immediately within a complex enterprise setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute cybersecurity initiatives across enterprise technology environments.
• Provide technical leadership while actively participating in operational cybersecurity activities.
• Manage and support Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, including Active Directory and access control frameworks.
• Investigate, respond to, and remediate cybersecurity incidents and security events.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure, platform, and endpoint security controls.
• Support and secure hybrid enterprise environments consisting of Windows, Linux, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex escalated Level 3 and Level 4 technical and security issues.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize automation and operational scripts using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar technologies.
• Contribute to system architecture, solution design, and security engineering initiatives.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, security procedures, and operational standards.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and business stakeholders to strengthen the organization's security posture.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Cybersecurity Manager, Cybersecurity Lead, or Technical Security Leadership role.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in:
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • Active Directory administration and security
  • Enterprise infrastructure security
  • Incident response and cyber investigations
  • Security operations and vulnerability management
• Experience supporting and securing Windows and Linux environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills./li>
• Experience developing automation and scripting solutions using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise security controls.
• Ability to work independently in fast‑paced, complex technical environments.
