Director of Privacy Compliance at Manulife

The Director, Global Privacy, reporting to the Deputy Global Chief Privacy Officer, will be pivotal in advising on privacy standards and implementing compliance programs across Manulife’s diverse operations. Your responsibilities will encompass addressing privacy issues proactively, conducting training, and ensuring continuous improvement of privacy initiatives. Prepare detailed reporting for governance committees and collaborate closely with oversight functions. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement compliance programs and standards
• Provide oversight on Privacy Risk Management practices
• Manage privacy issues with internal and external stakeholders
• Support audit preparation and process improvements
• Conduct employee privacy training sessions

Requirements:

• 8+ years’ experience in a compliance role
• Advanced understanding of privacy regulations and technology risks
• Excellent project management skills
• Ability to effectively communicate across levels
• Proven ability to critically analyze privacy risks
