Heavy Duty Mechanics-Journeyman or Apprentice to join our team in our Bonnyville Terminal .

Position: Heavy Duty Mechanic- Journeyman or Apprentice
Type: Fulltime
Location: Bonnyville, Alberta
Pay: Commensurate with education and experience
Duties And Responsibilities
- Fleet maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair diesel/gas engines and commercial trailers.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Record and maintain accurate work orders.
- Complete ‘Commercial Vehicle Inspections’
- Maintain preventative maintenance program.
Qualifications
- Heavy Equipment Tech (HET) Journeyman Red Seal or an apprentice at any level or willing to enroll in apprenticeship program.
- High school diploma with minimum of 2 years’ working experience.
- Valid Class 5 license
- Basic set of hand tools required.
- Organizational, Interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong work ethic, to work independently and within team.
- A wide array of knowledge and experience with tools
- Familiar with the latest vehicle diagnostic equipment
- Experience in preventative maintenance including electrical, interior, air brake, tire, and body maintenance.
