We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager for a full-time opportunity supporting a high-priority underground project at a mine site in Kamloops BC. This role will lead the execution of an underground upgrade project. T

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end management and execution of complex underground projects within an active mining environment, from planning and design through construction and commissioning.
• Maintain full ownership of project schedule, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and dependencies are actively managed
• Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders, external engineering consultants, and contractors to drive execution
• Work alongside supply chain to support procurement planning, bid evaluations, and contract management
• Oversee project documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with site standards
• Provide clear, concise, and timely reporting to site leadership and senior management
• Supervise and provide direction to supporting team members, including a project scheduler and junior EIT
• Ensure all activities align with site safety standards, operational requirements, and project governance processes.

Compensation & Schedule

• Salary: $110,000–$130,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

• Contractor Arrangements: Open to subcontractor arrangements, with rates negotiable based on experience.

• Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 10-hour days (40 hours per week).

Requirements

• 8+ years of project management experience in mining or heavy industrial environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing small-to-mid-sized capital projects with high operational impact.
• Strong understanding of underground mining operations and infrastructure projects (ventilation experience considered an asset).
• Previous project experience in an underground mine setting.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, contractors, and technical teams simultaneously.
• Experience working with procurement and contract management processes.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to guide and mentor junior team members.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders.
