Npi Operations Project Engineer

Lead new product introduction at L3Harris in Waterdown, Ontario, using project management and manufacturing expertise. Coordinate cross-functional operations activities supporting mission-critical defense technology.This Specialist Operations Project Engineer manages NPI projects and product launches across manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams. The position develops project plans, tracks schedules and budgets, manages risks, and supports manufacturability and scalability. It also provides technical guidance for IRAD, customer-funded NRE, and non-standard configurations.Key Responsibilities:
Lead NPI projects and ensure timely deliverable executionDevelop schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and project plansMonitor risks, issues, progress, estimates, and earned value reportingFacilitate readiness reviews for low-rate and full-rate productionDrive product targets, continuous improvement, and technical issue closureRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree and minimum four years’ relevant experienceKnowledge of operations and manufacturing environmentsExperience with Microsoft Office, MS Project, MRP, Confluence, or JIRAStrong analytical, planning, communication, and leadership skillsPMP, P.Eng, Lean Greenbelt, or Six Sigma certification assetsApply project leadership, manufacturing knowledge, and analytical decision-making to deliver successful product launches at L3Harris.
