Intermediate Water Conveyance Civil Engineer

Design water conveyance infrastructure with Stantec in Alberta, applying civil engineering expertise across municipal, industrial, and wastewater projects.Stantec seeks an Intermediate Civil Engineer for its Water Group’s Civil/Conveyance Team. You will support planning, design, and delivery for clients across Alberta. Assignments may cover water transmission, wastewater collection, pumping facilities, trenchless installations, rehabilitation, and site development. The work spans feasibility, detailed design, tendering, construction, commissioning, and closeout.Key Responsibilities:
Design municipal and industrial water conveyance infrastructurePrepare drawings, estimates, reports, specifications, and technical documentsUndertake engineering studies, field work, and inspectionsSupport contract administration, schedules, and project budgetsReview technical work and mentor developing staffRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalentFive to seven years of consulting experienceProfessional Engineer registration with APEGAExperience in municipal water infrastructure designValid Class 5 driver’s licenseApply civil design, conveyance, and project delivery expertise to significant water and wastewater infrastructure across Alberta.
