Full Time Receptionist

We are looking for a friendly, compassionate, and organized Receptionist to be the first point of contact for The Wellington. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with seniors and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A healthcare background or experience working with seniors would be a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist residents, clients, families, visitors, and staff in a warm and professional manner
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails
• Provide information and assistance to seniors and their families with patience and compassion
• Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
• Perform general administrative and clerical duties
• Maintain an organized, professional, and welcoming reception area
• Assist with data entry, filing, photocopying, and document preparation
• Respond to inquiries and direct questions to the appropriate staff members
• Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy and dignity of residents and clients
• Support staff and management with administrative tasks as required

Qualifications

• Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience
• Experience working with seniors is highly desirable
• Healthcare experience or a healthcare-related background would be considered a strong asset
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach when working with seniors
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, friendly, and positive attitude
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team .
