Nanny Wanted - Part Time Help Wanted In Guelph

Hello! Our family is looking for some help with cleaning, light cooking and childcare. We are looking to find someone who can start right away and stay with us for at least the summer. Helping with cleaning and cooking/meal prep is our main priority. Our primary need with cleaning includes tidying up toys and bedrooms, laundry, loading/unloading the dishwasher, mopping, vacuuming, etc., as well as some meal prep. My main goal is to be able to spend more quality time with my children, so having someone who can take the load off with day-to-day household tasks is essential. It is very important to us that you are able to work quickly while still doing a very thorough, high-quality job. We are really looking for someone who is efficient, moves at a good pace, and takes pride in doing cleaning properly. That said, it’s equally important that you’re wonderful with children—someone who is engaging, kind, and genuinely enjoys spending time with little ones. When you are with the children, we are looking for active engagement—playing, interacting, and connecting with them, not just supervising. The ideal nanny: Works fast but is also very thorough and detail-oriented when cleaning. Warm, attentive, patient and engaging with children (active play and interaction is very important). Comfortable juggling both household tasks and childcare. Reliable and self-motivated—someone who takes initiative and does a good job without needing direction. Ideally, we would love someone with experience in occupational therapy, speech therapy, physiotherapy, or anything related to childcare. University students in these fields are very welcome! We are looking for someone who can come Monday–Friday for 3–4 hours per day (sometimes more), around late morning/early afternoon.
