Senior Advisor Environmental Science Upstream Oil & Gas

At WSP, become a Senior Technical Advisor focusing on Upstream Oil & Gas sites in Edmonton or Calgary. Contribute to risk management and site closure initiatives while leading a dedicated team.
This senior technical role within the Remediation Program Management team requires expertise in environmental consulting. With over twenty years in the field, you will oversee project execution, review technical reports, and engage with key stakeholders. Your mentorship will develop junior staff capabilities in remediation processes and environmental assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement site closure plans
• Review and evaluate environmental reports and studies
• Liaise with regulators and key internal stakeholders
• Mentor and train junior personnel in environmental practices
• Advocate for innovative solutions in site management
Requirements:
• Degree in Environmental Sciences or a closely related field
• Minimum of twenty years in environmental consulting
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety standards
• Proven communication and teamwork skills
• Required professional certification and training
