Cloud Security Engineer

Cloud security expertise meets AI infrastructure at Baseten, where you will secure AWS and GCP environments supporting mission-critical model inference. Work cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams.As an experienced Security Engineer, you will help improve Baseten’s ML infrastructure security posture. You will shape security strategy and practices while protecting sensitive data. The work spans secure architecture, container security, and infrastructure as code. You will also support identity and access management and compliance requirements.Key Responsibilities:
Design secure cloud systems and container orchestration platformsLead vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and remediationEmbed automated security checks into CI/CD pipelinesOversee identity and access management strategies and toolsSupport compliance audits, policies, and risk assessmentsRequirements:
Three or more years in security-focused engineering rolesStrong AWS or GCP cloud security knowledgeKnowledge of container security and infrastructure-as-code practicesExperience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scannersScripting experience for automating security tasksBring cloud security, container protection, and automation expertise to strengthen Baseten’s rapidly growing ML infrastructure platform.
