Avez-vous l’assurance nécessaire pour prendre des décisions critiques en temps réel? À titre d’officier·ère de contrôle aérospatial des Forces armées canadiennes (FAC), vous contribuerez à la sécurité de l’espace aérien du Canada en veillant au contrôle de la circulation et des armes aériennes.
Ce poste est offert à temps plein ou à temps partiel, ou dans le cadre de notre programme d’études payées.

Aperçu
Les officier·ère·s de contrôle aérospatial ont les principales responsabilités suivantes :
- Surveillance aérospatiale
- Alerte et contrôle des objets aéroportés dans l’espace aérien canadien
- Contrôle des aéronefs civils et militaires dans le cadre d’opérations de combat et d’instruction partout dans le monde

Ce poste s'apparente aux métiers suivants :
- Contrôleur·euse de la circulation aérienne
- Spécialiste de l’information de vol
- Contrôleur·euse de la circulation ferroviaire et maritime
- Gestionnaire des ressources humaines
- Directeur·trice des services d’aéroport
Pour pouvoir vous enrôler dans les FAC, vous devez :
- posséder la citoyenneté canadienne ou être résident permanent vivant au Canada;
- avoir au moins 18 ans (17 ans avec le consentement parental) sauf pour :
- les programmes d’études subventionnées – avoir au moins 16 ans (avec le consentement des parents);
- la Première réserve – avoir au moins 16 ans (avec le consentement des parents) et être aux études à temps plein;
- avoir terminé sa 10 année ou son 4 secondaire au Québec (certains postes demandent un niveau d’éducation plus élevé).
Programme d’enrôlement direct
Si vous détenez déjà un diplôme universitaire, les FAC détermineront si votre programme d’études remplit les critères du poste et vous pourriez être envoyé directement à une formation en cours d’emploi après avoir obtenu votre qualification militaire de base. Cette qualification et la qualification d’officier·ère sont requises avant toute affectation.
