Elevate low voltage power distribution at General Motors as an Embedded Software Engineer. This hybrid position in Markham focuses on C programming and collaboration in a scrum environment. The role targets engineers with 2-5 years of experience in software development and embedded systems. You will work with diverse teams to develop algorithms and implement comprehensive test plans while ensuring software quality and compliance. Your contributions will significantly impact project success through effective testing leadership. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop algorithms in embedded C for low voltage features
- Collaborate with software and low voltage systems teams
- Lead test plans and evaluate software products
- Interact with testing scripts using C and Python
- Identify anomalies and performance issues promptly
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Software Engineering
- 2-5+ years of experience in embedded systems
- Proficient in Python and debugging embedded C
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA
- Familiar with software-in-the-loop testing environments
