• Conduct preoperative assessments of patient statuses
• Provide emotional support to families preoperatively
• Maintain sterile fields and handle surgical instruments
• Assist the surgical team and document counts accurately
• Complete post-surgical routines including patient positioning

• Post‑diploma Operating Room Technique Program
• Minimum two years recent Operating Room experience
• Current Registration with the College of Nurses in Ontario
• Valid CPR and BCLS certifications
• Understanding of aseptic technique in clinical settings
