Field Service Representative II - Canadian Blood Services

Join Canadian Blood Services as a Temporary full-time Field Service Representative II with our Equipment & Automation team, focusing on technical support and biomedical engineering equipment.

This senior role requires expertise in maintaining and servicing a wide range of biomedical equipment. You will provide technical guidance, perform preventative maintenance, and offer consultation on new equipment procurement. Mentoring junior staff and adhering to corporate standards will also be essential aspects of your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities: • Champion equipment services for site and sub-sites • Provide technical support and expertise to equipment owners • Perform preventative and demand maintenance for equipment • Consult on acquisition of new biomedical equipment • Write technical documents as guided by regional supervisor

Requirements: • Post-secondary diploma in Biomedical/Clinical Engineering • Minimum five years' related work experience, preferably in healthcare • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Knowledge of Lean methodologies preferred • Valid driver’s licence required
