Compensation: $150,000 – $160,000 CAD per year
Location: Canada (remote / could be some on site client visits depending on client needs)

Key Responsibilities
Client & Solution Design
- Lead technical discovery and design workshops with customers to understand their environment, systems, constraints, and goals
- Design integration architectures showing how the platform will integrate with client systems (HRIS, payroll, LMS, identity, data platforms, etc.)
- Clearly articulate integration approaches, data flows, dependencies, and risks to both technical and non-technical audiences
Platform Integrations
- Design and implement integrations using RESTful APIs, event-based patterns, and microservices
- Integrate the platform with client environments including HRIS platforms and other enterprise SaaS systems
- Account for system availability, downtime windows, security requirements, and performance considerations during integrations
- Support troubleshooting, issue resolution, and optimization post-integration
Technical Architecture
- Work with microservices-based architectures and distributed systems
- Ensure integrations align with best practices around scalability, reliability, and security
- Collaborate with internal engineers to influence integration patterns and product evolution
Experience Needed for this Role:
Must-Have Experience
- Proven experience as an Integration Architect, Solutions Architect, or Senior Integration Engineer
- Strong client-facing experience leading workshops, technical discussions, and solution design sessions
- Hands-on experience integrating SaaS platforms into customer environments
- Deep familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation
- Experience working with microservices architectures
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex integration challenges
Strongly Preferred
- Background integrating HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, Dayforce, UKG, ADP, etc.)
- Experience in HR tech, people analytics, workforce platforms, or adjacent enterprise SaaS products
Technical Stack & Knowledge
- Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Backend technologies such as Python, Java, Node.js, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, or similar
- Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and secure data exchange patterns
- Comfort working across multiple customer environments with varying levels of maturity
