Teaching Position

1.0 FTE TEACHER, OUR LADY OF THE WAY SCHOOL

In anticipation of the upcoming 2026-2027 school year, The Northwest Catholic District School Board is inviting applications for a full time (1.0 FTE) Teacher at Our Lady of the Way School commencing August 31, 2026.

The successful candidate will deliver classroom programming in a Catholic learning environment that supports academic excellence, faith formation and student well being. The role requires strong instructional practice, effective classroom

management and a commitment to nurturing the spiritual, academic and social development of students.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Certificate of Registration with the Ontario College of Teachers (in good standing).

• Primary/Junior and/or Intermediate with Special Education Qualifications (preferred).

• Religious Education Part 1 or a demonstrated commitment to obtain this qualification within two (2) years.

• Demonstrated faith life and strong commitment to Catholic Education.

Salary/Benefits:

• In accordance with the current OECTA collective agreement, dependent upon qualifications and experience, with a salary range of $62,760 to $119,949 annually.

• We also offer a comprehensive and generous benefit package, including personal leave, an additional report card

day and enrollment into the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (OTPP).
