Description: The position supports Store Management by contributing to the successful operations of the Retail Store and Gas Station while following protocol as of a Petro-Canada branded dealer. Key objective of the position is to provide customer satisfaction at all times.

Job duties are as follows but not limited to:

·        Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of staff.

·        Assign daily duties and adjust staff allocation to meet customer demand and operational needs.

·        Oversee fuel pump and store operations to ensure safety, compliance, and smooth customer service.

·        Perform regular inspections of pumps, store equipment, and premises to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning.

·        Handle cash management, including daily deposits, reconciliation, and monitoring of cash registers.

·        Sell merchandise, process transactions, and authorize product returns.

·        Maintain inventory of convenience store products and fuel; place orders as required by management.

·        Manage product pricing and promotions; communicate updates to staff and ensure proper labeling.

·        Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.

·        Enforce health, safety, and loss-prevention policies, including monitoring for theft and security risks.

·        Train and mentor new employees in store procedures, customer service, and safety protocols.

·        Prepare shift reports, sales summaries, and submit documentation to management.

·        Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and ensure smooth transaction processing.

·        Ensure compliance with Petro-Canada standards, environmental policies, and government regulations.

·        Carry out any other tasks necessary for the efficient operation of the store as assigned by management.

Basic Qualifications:

·    Secondary school education

·    Minimum 7 months – 1 year previous work experience in retail sales or customer service at supervisor or managerial level

Additional Qualifications:

Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet operational needs, including morning, afternoon, graveyards and evening shifts. Please note our Gas Station operates 24/7, 7 days a week.
