Position Overview As part of the AXI Reporting Platform Transformation, you will be working as a Business Subject Matter Expert/Business Analyst within the AXI Reporting Platform Transformation and Support Team. You will primarily focus on the AXI Reporting functions of the platform, which spans from IR‑related reporting such as Market Value Statements, PCAP, Confirmations, Capital Activity and holding reports to FA‑related reporting including allocator reports, NAV Financial Statements, Fee Breakdown reports and extracts. The reports can be customized client reports or global reports/extracts. The team consists of Business Subject Matter Experts who support day‑to‑day business operations and represent stakeholders to determine and document the business requirements for the AXI Platform in collaboration with the IT Development Team.
Responsibilities Support Business Operations in configuring customized client reports and extracts
Support Business Operations in configuring global generic reports and extracts
Act as a bridge between Business Operations and the AXI Report Development Team
Define, document and specify calculations required in the reports/extracts
Understand the business rationale behind any reporting requirement
Participate in workshops with the AXI Development team to define and document business requirements for development
Facilitate UAT/testing of new developed reports, extracts or functionality
Work with business stakeholders to acquire sign‑off for new or amended reports
Work as an integral part of the Transformation Office
Liaise with key IT personnel and Business Analysts during the development process
Liaise with key stakeholders and plan sponsors to identify improvements to systems and business processes
Educate business users on new reports and promote knowledge of AXI Reporting
Provide level2 local/global support for the AXI Platform Reporting
Troubleshoot, resolve complex problems and detect development solutions
Qualifications Bachelor or Master Degree in Finance or equivalent
5+ years of experience in Fund Accounting, FA Systems and/or Fund Administration
Understanding or willingness to learn SQL
Robust analytical skills
Excellent planning, communication and presentation skills
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Strong interpersonal, negotiation and mediation skills
Ability to multi‑task and prioritize amid competing timelines and priorities
Proven complex problem resolution experience
Knowledge of Confluence and JIRA or willingness to learn
Knowledge of Crystal Reports is beneficial
Salary Range: CAD $108,000 – $140,000
