Full-Time Personal Support Worker / Caregiver I’m looking for a reliable, dependable Personal Support Worker/Caregiver who is interested in full-time work to join my care team. I’m a C5 quadriplegic living near Jane & Weston. For the past several years, I’ve mainly hired on a part-time basis because finding people who are genuinely reliable and committed long-term has been difficult. At this point, I’m looking for someone who is interested in building a consistent, full-time position of approximately 32–40 hours per week. This is not a cash job. This is documented employment paid by cheque every two weeks, with the appropriate payroll deductions taken off. You’ll have documented income and will be paid through a proper payroll arrangement. I understand that committing to a full-time position with someone you’ve never worked with before is a big decision, which is why I’d like to start with a two-week part-time trial period. This gives both of us a chance to see how well we work together, make sure the position is a good fit, and most importantly, establish that I can depend on you. If everything goes well, the position will transition into a full-time role. The role includes:

• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance
• Transfers, positioning, catheter care, and bed baths
• Light housekeeping and general support around the home
• Assistance with morning, dinner, and bedtime routines
• Occasional assistance while travelling

I’m looking for someone who is dependable, punctual, responsible, easygoing, and genuinely committed to showing up when they are scheduled. Reliability is extremely important in this position because consistent care is a necessity, not something I can easily go without. Experience working with quadriplegic or paraplegic care is preferred, but I’m absolutely open to someone who is willing to learn and has the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to become comfortable with my routines. You must also be comfortable around dogs, as I have a very friendly yellow Lab service dog. A valid driver’s license is strongly preferred, as there may also be opportunities to accompany me on trips. Travel would involve assisting with my regular care routine while away, with travel-related expenses and accommodations covered.
