About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled Robotics Engineer with expertise in AI integration to join their advanced engineering team in East London . This role focuses on developing intelligent robotic systems that leverage artificial intelligence for enhanced perception, decision-making, and autonomous operation. You will be involved in designing, building, testing, and deploying robotic platforms equipped with state-of-the-art AI capabilities. This is a unique opportunity to work on challenging and innovative projects at the forefront of robotics and AI, contributing to the next generation of automated solutions. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and AI specialists to bring sophisticated robotic systems to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robotic systems, integrating AI algorithms for perception, navigation, and control.
- Implement and optimize AI models (e.g., computer vision, reinforcement learning) for robotic applications.
- Develop and maintain simulation environments for testing robotic systems and AI algorithms.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of AI components with robotic hardware.
- Conduct system testing, debugging, and performance validation of robotic platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in robotics engineering, with a strong focus on AI integration.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python .
- Experience with robotics software frameworks like ROS (Robot Operating System).
- Familiarity with AI/ML libraries and tools relevant to robotics.
