Job Responsibility:
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Pro Shop Attendant/Server to join our team. This role involves engaging with customers, managing transactions, and promoting products effectively. The ideal candidate will assist in the day-to-day operations of our pro shop, and restaurant providing excellent customer service and support.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in selecting merchandise.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions.
- Handle cashiering duties accurately, including processing payments and managing cash.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Serving customers food/beverages in a timely manner.
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting relevant items.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing shop environment.
- Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and tracking product availability.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail/customer service as well as serving is preferred.
- Familiarity with technology sales is a plus, particularly in sports-related equipment.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with a diverse clientele.
- Strong organizational skills are essential for managing inventory and shop layout.
- Ability to effectively communicate product knowledge and engage customers in conversation.
- Experience with upselling techniques is beneficial to maximize sales opportunities.
Qualifications
- Must obtain a serving it right before the start date.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment
