Our robust sales and service teams, coupled with a comprehensive parts inventory, ensure exceptional support for our valued customers.Role DescriptionAs the Outside Bobcat Sales Representative, you are responsible for full cycle sales which includes:Maintaining current relationships and expanding Rentco’s Bobcat prospect database by creating sales leads (including using ecommerce) and initiating prospect callsWorking with customers to determine their requirements and assist them with the purchase of products with focus on heavy equipmentEmphasizing product/service features and benefits, quoting prices, discussing credit terms, and preparing sales order forms and/or reportsMaintaining up-to-date knowledge of Bobcat and other sales linesConducting product demonstrations for prospectsCompleting financing paperworkClosing sales deals includes the delivery of equipment to the customer’s siteFollowing Rentco’s policies and procedures which includes safety rules and expense reportingQualifications· 2 years of demonstrated full-cycle sales experience and previous experience with and knowledge of heavy equipment· Class 5 drivers’ licence with a clean abstract and an ability to pull a fifth wheel trailer· Exceptional verbal communication skills· Intermediate computer skills· Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers· Ability to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures· Ability to always work ethically and with integrity and passion· Ability to work on a Saturday rotation from 8am to 12pm· Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends to attend trade shows, when requiredWorking Conditions· A combination of working in office and traveling to client locations while hauling a trailer within assigned territory· Ability to lift 50 lbs· Ability to work both indoors and outdoors while wearing required PPERentco Equipment offers· Competitive wages and benefits (This position pays a bi-weekly salary plus monthly commission)· RRSP/DPSP program· Company provided truck, fuel card, and cell phone· Stable, year-round employment with great hours· Employee discount and free rentals· Promote from within policy· Employee referral bonus· Fantastic team to work with· Monthly cake days to celebrate birthdays and work anniversaries
