Nanny Wanted - Experienced Babysitter And/Or Nanny Needed In New Tecumseth, Ontario Special Event $40.00 Per Hour

We are getting married on Friday, October 2, 2026 and are looking for an experienced and trusted babysitter and/or nanny to serve as a chaperone for our little guy for the events around, and on our big day! He will be 13 months old at the time of the wedding (born August 2025). The ideal candidate should have experience in infant care, be a licensed Ontario driver, have their CPR / First Aid Certification, and preferably have a vulnerable sector check. The appointment would require you to join our family for a 2 day period, from 1:00pm on Thursday, October 1, 2026 until 1:00pm on Saturday, October 3, 2026. We would ask you to provide care for our son for the following: The rehearsal at the wedding venue in Bradford on Thursday afternoon, our rehearsal dinner in Beeton on Thursday evening, and overnight care on Thursday evening / night. Friday morning at our home in Beeton, and at the wedding venue during the wedding and reception on Friday afternoon and evening. Drive our son home to our house (we live approximately 10km from our wedding venue) and overnight care on Friday evening / night. Saturday morning at our home in Beeton, including while we return to the venue to pick up anything remaining. We would provide overnight accommodation in our finished guest room (with a private bathroom) on Thursday and Friday night. We are hoping to have a consultation and a trial run with the selected candidate in advance of the wedding day so our son can get to know you, you get to know us and our home, and we can all ensure that we are a great fit! We recognize this is a tall order! But we know the perfect candidate is out there and we are so excited to meet you! Please Note: We have a 2.5 year old Golden Retriever that will be present in our home as well as at our wedding. He is the sweetest guy in the world and will have his own chaperone for our big day (and the hours following his return home after the wedding). We are happy to provide more details when we connect. Moving forward, we are hoping to evolve this relationship to an ad hoc babysitting / nanny arrangement, where the successful candidate will be called upon (at their availability, of course!) to provide overnight care, as well as meal prep, housekeeping, and pet care.
