Senior Backend Software Engineer at Grafana

Lead backend development efforts as a Senior Engineer at Grafana Labs, focusing on the cutting-edge Grafana Cloud platform. This fully remote role demands strong programming skills and cloud expertise. At Grafana Labs, you will be an essential member of the Mimir squad, influencing the trajectory of our observability solutions. Working in a collaborative global environment, you’ll tackle complex challenges and contribute significantly to the continuous improvement of system performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities:
- Shape product direction and design solutions
- Develop features and iterate for optimal results
- Manage end-to-end project delivery to customers
- Ensure high reliability for critical backend services
- Participate in team on-call rotation solutions
- Strong programming skills, especially in Go or similar languages
- Experience with systems engineering or cloud architecture
- Familiarity with observability metrics and logging systems
- Proven project leadership from requirements to deployment
- Comfortable working in a fully remote, collaborative team
