AWS DevOps Engineer – CI/CD Automation, Terraform, Cloud Infrastructure & Security Role: AWS DevOps Engineer Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid (Minimum 2 Days Work From Office) Duration: 12 Months Experience Required: 8+ Years Skills: Digital – DevOps
Role Description
• Responsible for AWS cloud infrastructure management, CI/CD automation, vulnerability management, and daily DevOps operations.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable DevOps solutions supporting enterprise AWS environments.
Required Skills & Responsibilities
CI/CD & Automation
• Build and maintain Jenkins pipelines using Groovy, including:
• Declarative pipelines
• Scripted pipelines
• Manage Terraform modules for AWS infrastructure provisioning and state management.
• Develop Python scripts to automate:
• AWS operations
• Deployments
• Reporting activities
AWS Cloud Infrastructure
• Manage ECS Fargate workloads, including:
• Task definitions
• Services
• Auto-scaling
• Provision and maintain EC2 instances running Amazon Linux 2023.
• Configure and troubleshoot AWS services, including:
• Application Load Balancer (ALB)
• Network Load Balancer (NLB)
• VPC
• Security Groups
• IAM
• Support multi-account AWS environments using:
• AWS Organizations
• Systems Manager (SSM)
Vulnerability & Security Management
• Run vulnerability scans and triage findings using:
• Wiz
• Tenable
• Kenna
• Aqua Security
• Integrate security scanning into CI/CD pipelines across:
• Containers
• Operating systems
• Application code
• Track and drive CVE remediation within defined SLAs in collaboration with security teams.
Daily DevOps Operations
• Monitor production environments and respond to incidents with focus on reducing MTTR.
• Perform:
• Infrastructure patching
• AMI refreshes
• Infrastructure hygiene activities
• Maintain:
• Runbooks
• Architecture diagrams
• Operational documentation
• Participate in:
• On-call rotation
• Agile sprint ceremonies
Required Experience
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, Terraform, Jenkins, and security operations.
• Experience supporting enterprise production environments.
