Stem Cell Engineering Senior Scientist Role

STEMCELL Technologies is looking for a Senior Scientist to manage R&D for human pluripotent stem cell development using advanced genome engineering strategies. Lead innovative stem cell research initiatives. In your role as Senior Scientist, you will be the technical leader in a specialized team focused on stem cell programming. This includes overseeing various phases of product development, providing mentorship to team members, and ensuring that high-quality research and innovative solutions are achieved. Collaboration with external partners will enhance research and product success. Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for the advancement of complex projects
• Innovate tools for generating diverse cell types using genome engineering
• Provide coaching and professional development opportunities for team members
• Oversee the design of rigorous experiments and research quality
• Drive product launches and IP generation through creative strategies

Requirements:

• PhD with at least 5 years or Master’s with 8 years of experience
• Expertise in genome engineering techniques like CRISPR/Cas9
• Experience with human pluripotent stem cell lines essential
• Background in molecular cloning and cellular programming preferred
• Skilled in communicating with diverse teams and key stakeholders
