Electromechanical Technician

We’re excited to share an opportunity for an existing vacancy as Electro-Mechanical Service Technician
This is a dynamic, hands-on role for a technically strong service professional who enjoys working with advanced equipment and travelling to support global clients. With a strong emphasis on electrical troubleshooting, you’ll play a critical role in commissioning, servicing, and optimizing automated systems while representing the company on-site with customers.
Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Perform on-site and in-house electrical troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of automated equipment
- Commission and start up machinery at customer sites (domestic and international)
- Diagnose and resolve PLC, HMI, and control system issues
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues and improve system performance
- Provide technical support and training to customers during and after installation
- Complete detailed service reports and documentation following site visits
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and company procedures
Mandatory Requirements
- Strong electrical troubleshooting experience in an industrial or automation environment
- Experience with PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley/Siemens) and HMI systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control drawings
- Hands-on experience with automated machinery and control systems
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid passport and ability to travel globally up to 20%
Preferred Requirements
- Electro-mechanical background with both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience
- Experience with commissioning and field service work
- Industrial Electrician (442A) or related certification (considered an asset)
- Experience working directly with customers in a service capacity
Location: West GTA, Ontario
Salary Range: $90,000-100,000 + overtime (time and a half when working on-site)
