Job Responsibility:

Ontario Truss & Wall (OTW) is a locally operated, top quality Truss and Wall Designer and Manufacturer. Founded in 1982, OTW has been a staple in the local construction industry for over 35 years. Quality, Design and Precision has allowed OTW to efficiently grow year over year, which requires a growing team. The current opportunity at OTW is for wall builders.

The successful candidates will have knowledge of lumber and framing, will be hardworking, self-motivated and punctual. These candidates will be responsible for the cutting and building wall panels, and assisting other departments as required.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including all health and safety policies.
• Responsible for working and operating equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Keeping work area orderly and clean.
• Responsible for maintaining and upgrading skills as required by management to maintain job proficiency and safety.
• Responsible for assisting and co-operating with all departments to maintain a safe and efficient operation.
• Responsible for notifying management of any unsafe situation arising or occurring in the performance of duties.
• Responsible for supervising and giving instructions to personnel assigned to his work group to maintain safety, quality and efficiency.
• Assist in training and integrating new employees into company policies, procedures and job duties.
• Other duties as deemed necessary by management from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Experience with framing is required
• Works well with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Organizational skills and Attention to Detail
• Flexible to support where needed
• Valid drivers license
• Strong work ethic and positive Team attitude
