If that sounds like you, we should talk. AlgaeCal is looking for a sharp, organized, and data-driven Digital Marketing Specialist. You’ll help build and run the email, SMS, rewards, and subscribe-and-save programs that turn new customers into loyal regulars.

What You Bring to the Table:
(Besides a love of subject lines that actually get clicked)

• You’ve got the experience to get things moving. You bring at least 3 years in email or database marketing, including hands-on work with automation platforms like Braze, Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar tools. You’ve built automated campaigns, measured the results, and made them better.

• You’re comfortable getting everything set up. Templates, segments, scheduling, testing, deployment. You know what needs to happen before anyone touches the send button. You’ll help get our Braze email and SMS channels ready for launch and keep campaigns running smoothly afterward.

• You think beyond the first purchase. Welcome emails, customer onboarding, cross-sells, replenishment reminders, and win-back campaigns are all part of the picture. You understand how each one can help customers get more from their purchase and give them a reason to come back.

• You know a little planning saves a lot of panic. You’re organized, comfortable juggling deadlines, and good at working with content, acquisition, ecommerce and influencer teams. You can help turn business goals, customer insights, and competitor research into a practical email marketing calendar.

• You know personalization goes WAY beyond a first name. You understand how to turn customer data into messages that actually feel relevant. From smart segmentation and product recommendations to perfectly timed reorder reminders, you know how to get the right message to the right person at the right time. Because great personalization isn't just about knowing someone's name. It's about knowing what they need next.

• You check your work like your reputation depends on it. You proofread, preview, and test. Links, tracking, offers, brand guidelines, and approved claims all get your attention. You’re the person who catches the mistake while there’s still time to fix it.

• You care what happens after you hit send. You understand deliverability, authentication, list hygiene, and reputation monitoring. You keep an eye on bounces and complaints, and you’re familiar with email and SMS consent and compliance requirements, including CASL, CAN-SPAM, and TCPA.

• You can turn a report into a useful next step. You look at engagement, conversion, repeat purchases, and retention to work out what’s performing and what needs attention. Then you explain what you’d change, why, and how you’ll measure whether it helped.

• You see the potential in a well-run rewards program. You’ll help develop and manage our Rewards Program, from earning points and redeeming rewards to membership tiers and customer communications. You’ll also help assess whether those rewards are generating enough repeat business to justify their cost. Previous rewards experience is a plus.

• You want Subscribe & Save to earn its name. You’ll help improve reorder timing, recover failed payments, and give customers useful options when they’re considering cancelling. Experience with subscription programs would be welcome.

• You’ve got a university degree in business or e-commerce. Experience in health or supplements would also be an asset. And whatever your background, you’re curious, thorough, and happy working with others to figure things out.
