Firmware DSP Engineer for Advanced Systems

Take on exciting challenges as a Firmware DSP Engineer at Nokia, specializing in advanced DSP and control system developments. This role centers on system design and real-time application using MATLAB and C++. You'll be tasked with developing embedded real-time DSP systems and directly contributing to the programming of an Optical Modem ASIC. The position involves real-time coding, API development, and facilitating digital ASIC simulations for system validation and optimization. Work alongside talented engineers dedicated to innovation. Key Responsibilities:
- Build and test real-time DSP and control systems
- Code and test embedded systems for advanced applications
- Conduct MATLAB simulations for hardware modeling
- Undertake real-time firmware coding and develop APIs
- Contribute to simulation for ASIC optimization
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in relevant fields from accredited schools
- Strong programming skills in C and C++
- MATLAB experience for engineering applications
- Knowledge of DSP and control theory through studies
- Understanding of communications theories
