Business Intelligence Analytics Intern
Ciena Corporation
Build advanced analytics capabilities at Ciena as a Business Intelligence and Analytics Intern, using data science and machine learning. This four-month term starts January 2027.
You will support Ciena’s Services Business Intelligence and Analytics team across reporting and analysis. The internship focuses on artificial intelligence, machine learning, forecasting, and data visualization. You will help advance capabilities serving global stakeholders and internal users across the transactional spectrum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance Call Analytics with sentiment analysis and quality scoring
- Develop Cost Profiling for project cost schedule forecasting
- Design KPI Outlier Detection for executive warning signals
- Develop Order Plan forecasting for long-term business evaluation
Requirements:
- Actively pursuing Engineering, Computer Science, or similar degree
- Formal learning in Data Science
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize independently and deliver work on time
- Attention to data completeness and accuracy
