Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and assisting with product inquiries. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping others, ensuring that every customer leaves with a positive experience.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring accuracy in cash handling.
• Provide product demonstrations and explain features to customers to enhance their shopping experience.
• Maintain an organized and clean checkout area, ensuring all merchandise is properly displayed.
• Manage time effectively to minimize wait times for customers during peak hours.
• Address customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Skills

• Proficiency in English; multilingual skills are a plus to better assist diverse customers.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent phone etiquette for customer interactions over the phone.
• Experience in retail sales or technology sales is advantageous.
• Organizational skills to keep track of inventory and store displays.
• Ability to perform product demos effectively to engage customers.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.70-$16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
