Health Care Aid for Senior

I am currently in need of a compassionate and caring individual who has the talent and dedication for providing daily support to a wheelchair-bound senior. This role has a strong emphasis on ensuring a safe, comfortable and dignifying experience for the person in need. The work schedule required includes flexible shifts on Wednesday through Sunday, with less than 20 hours per week in total. The care provider tasks will entail lifts and transfers, patient positioning, handling a Hoyer lift and assisting in bathing, dressing and toileting. The working hours are divided into morning, middle of the day, and evening, with an hour of care during each of these times. The perfect candidate has experience or is willing to work with individuals who have had a stroke, is affected with dementia, or is bedridden. While a driver’s license and automobile use are not necessary for this role, the position does require you to be in the local region, as it is a live-out job. The preferred start date is immediate.
