Project Manager / Project Leader

Our Client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Project Leader to support enhancements for the Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee (OPGT) Modernization Program . This role focuses on delivering modernization initiatives beyond the initial MVP, ensuring successful execution of enhancement workstreams across complex enterprise environments.

The successful candidate will lead delivery planning, coordinate internal and vendor teams, manage risks and dependencies, and provide governance reporting while maintaining alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain integrated project delivery plans, schedules, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate activities across multiple workstreams, teams, and vendors.
  • Support Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project delivery approaches.
  • Monitor progress and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines.

Execution & Coordination

  • Lead delivery activities including integration, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
  • Ensure successful coordination between business, technical, and vendor teams.
  • Track deliverables, milestones, and resource utilization.

Risk & Dependency Management

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Manage cross functional dependencies and competing priorities.
  • Escalate critical risks with clear recommendations and mitigation plans.

Stakeholder & Governance Management

  • Prepare executive level status reports and governance updates.
  • Facilitate decision making sessions and stakeholder workshops.
  • Present project updates, risks, and recommendations to leadership teams.

Transition & Knowledge Transfer

  • Support operational handover and post implementation readiness.
  • Maintain project documentation, status reports, presentations, and delivery artifacts.

Required Qualifications

Must Have

  • 8+ years of Project Management experience delivering complex Digital, IT, or I&IT initiatives.
  • Experience working in large enterprise or highly governed environments.
  • Strong experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
  • Experience managing blended teams consisting of internal staff and external vendors.
  • Demonstrated success managing risks, dependencies, issues, and multiple workstreams.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem solving capabilities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE).
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).
  • Experience using Azure DevOps for project delivery and tracking.
  • Public sector or government project delivery experience.
