The Shop Helper supports daily operations in a manufacturing shop under the direction of the Operations Manager. This role assists with handling raw materials, tools and parts, lasers and press brake, and finished products while helping maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle raw materials, tools, parts, machinery, equipment, lasers, press brake, and finished products.
• Clean and maintain shop areas, workstations, and equipment.
• Organize tools and supplies for efficient access.
• Support inventory activities and order preparation.
• Assist with equipment operation and workstation setup.
• Provide loading assistance for materials and products.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and compliance requirements.
• Support team members with general shop operations.
• has to be willing to learn how to operate computerized equipment
• Willing to learn how to weld

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in shop operations.
• Familiarity with material handling and inventory management.
• Ability to use hand tools and perform basic equipment operation.
• Understanding of workplace safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
