Take on an essential role as a Family Law Lawyer in downtown Ottawa with established client-focused law firm. Suitable for those with 2–5 years of family law experience ready to advance their practice. Our client is looking for a Family Law Lawyer to support clients in various family legal matters. This position involves courtroom representation, managing legal issues, and providing practical advice. You will work collaboratively within a professional team and play a vital role in clients' family law resolutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Advocate for clients at the Ontario Court of Justice
- Manage trials, hearings, and legal conferences
- Oversee divorce and parenting legal matters
- Participate in mediation discussions and processes
- Keep comprehensive and accurate case files
- Good standing member of Law Society of Ontario
- 2–5 years’ experience in family law
- Strong courtroom presence and independence
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Fluent communication skills in English
