Butterly is looking for a Community & Social Media Manager to help us grow one of Canada's most engaged consumer communities.

At Butterly, we connect brands with real people who love discovering, testing, reviewing, and sharing products. From beauty and wellness to food, pet products, household essentials, and everything in between, we help consumers find products they'll love and help brands earn trust through authentic experiences.

We've been doing this for nearly 20 years, and we're just getting started.

What You'll Be Doing

Be the Voice of Our Community

• Engage with our amazing community of Butterly Advocates
• Answer questions, solve problems, and make members feel supported
• Celebrate community wins and create memorable experiences
• Help our Advocates get the most out of every campaign

Bring Butterly to Life on Social

• Own and manage Butterly's social channels
• Create content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, , and wherever the conversation is happening
• Jump on trends when they make sense (and ignore them when they don't)
• Create reels, stories, videos, graphics, and posts that people actually want to engage with
• Respond to comments and DMs like a real human

Create Content That Doesn't Feel Like Marketing

• Showcase authentic product experiences and community stories
• Turn advocate content into social gold
• Help tell the story of the Butterly community
• Write captions, emails, and content that sound like a person, not a corporate robot

Help Awesome Campaigns Succeed

• Support campaign launches and communications
• Encourage participation and excitement
• Monitor engagement and advocate activity
• Help ensure campaigns run smoothly from start to finish

Grow the Community

• Help attract new Advocates to Butterly
• Develop creative ideas to increase engagement and participation
• Gather community feedback and identify opportunities for improvement
• Find new ways to surprise and delight our members

You're Probably a Great Fit If...

• You spend more time on Instagram and TikTok than you'd like to admit
• You genuinely enjoy talking to people and building relationships
• You know the difference between creating content and creating content people actually care about
• You're organized enough to juggle multiple projects without dropping the ball
• You can write in a way that's engaging, conversational, and authentic
• You're naturally curious and always looking for better ways to do things
• You aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves and jump in wherever needed
• Located in Kitchener-Waterloo preferred.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience managing social media accounts for a brand
• Community management or customer success experience
• Canva, Adobe, CapCut, or video editing skills
• Experience working with creators, ambassadors, advocates, or influencers
• A strong eye for content and storytelling
• Experience creating short-form video content
