Senior Mining Project Engineer

Remote across Canada, this Senior Project Engineer role centers on multidisciplinary engineering oversight, risk management, and delivery coordination for mining development. Travel may be required as project needs dictate.Insight Global seeks a senior engineer for an initial 12-month contract with potential extension. Supporting an owner-side team, you will coordinate civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and process engineering interfaces. The position focuses on connecting dependencies across a major greenfield mining program and progressing engineering toward construction and execution.Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities across major mining development workstreamsManage work packages, schedules, resources, budgets, forecasts, and deliverablesMonitor progress and identify risks, blockers, and schedule impactsCoordinate Engineering Service Providers and hold providers accountableEscalate critical decisions and information to maintain delivery momentumRequirements:
10+ years of engineering and project engineering experienceDirect mining or mineral-processing project experienceMultidisciplinary experience across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, or process engineeringOwner-side, Owner’s Engineer, EPC, EPCM, or comparable experienceP.Eng. designation in CanadaApply senior mining project engineering expertise to coordinate disciplines, manage dependencies, and advance greenfield engineering deliverables toward execution.
