We will be a brand new facility looking for an energetic, creative, and responsible individual to grow with us as we serve our community.
Qualifications include:
- Valid Early Childhood Educator license for min of 5 years
- Management experience for a min of 3 years
- Familiar with BC Licensing Regulations
- Ability to maintain a positive leadership role and effective communication with staff.
- Ability to safeguard confidential information.
- Ability to be flexible in working independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent time management, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrates excellent customer service and communication skills (written and oral)
- Proficient in Microsoft applications including MS Word, Excel and Outlook required.
- Self-motivated, energetic and responsible.
- Strong work ethic and interpersonal communication skills.
- Valid First Aid Certification and CPR-C Certificate
- Valid Food Safe Certification preferred
- Valid criminal record check
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Principal who will be respectful of other people's ideas, be a true listener, and be prepared to bring creative ideas to the table.
Other job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Ensures the school is in compliance with BC Licensing Regulations.
- Oversees and coordinates the school's daily operation and administration.
- Manages school inquiries, registration, enrollment and student layouts.
- Ensures that our curriculum, policies, procedures and classroom operational policies are carried out.
- Monitors Teacher's progress and provides feedback.
- Monitors classroom activities and provides feedback.
- Conducts regular one-on-ones with Teachers and participates in Management meetings and Parent meetings.
- Provide guidance and information all internal and external stakeholders.
- Fosters and maintains positive relationships with Parents, children, staff, and directors.
- Oversees monthly reporting to directors
- Manages and actively participates in marketing activities & special event including school tours, festivals and community events.
- Creating and following policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well being of the children and staff.
- Willing to take on challenges to build a great learning centre for the community.

- Scheduling
- Ad hoc duties as required.
