Elevate mobile solutions at Manulife as a Senior Mobile Software Engineer in a hybrid work environment. Collaborate across technologies to develop impactful mobile applications and backend services.
In this role, you will design and deliver full-stack mobile solutions for the US Retirement technology team. You will utilize React Native and TypeScript while contributing to system architecture and performance optimization. Your partnership with product and design teams will drive the creation of excellent digital experiences that benefit Retirement customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and test features for React Native apps and Node.js services
• Design APIs and data models to enhance system architecture
• Write production-ready TypeScript code for mobile and backend
• Build accessible and performant mobile experiences
• Mentor engineering teams through code reviews and collaboration
Requirements:
• 5+ years in full-stack software development
• Strong TypeScript skills for frontend and backend
• Experienced with React Native, Expo, and Node.js
• Knowledge of Azure services and Redis caching
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions for CI/CD processes
