SERVPRO® is the industry leader in fire, water, mold, and storm damage restoration. We are seeking an experienced, driven, and hands-on General Manager to lead our Kelowna operation. As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the business including operations, sales, financial performance, customer satisfaction, and team development. You'll be empowered to grow the business while maintaining SERVPRO's reputation for exceptional service and rapid response.
What You'll Do- Lead the daily operations of the franchise while driving growth and profitability.
- Recruit, develop, coach, and retain a high-performing team.
- Manage restoration, reconstruction, administration, sales, and production departments.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with insurance professionals, property managers, commercial clients, and community partners.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), budgets, and financial performance.
- Develop strategic plans to increase market share and revenue.
- Foster a culture built on accountability, teamwork, customer service, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry standards, and provincial regulations.
- Be available to lead during emergency response situations when required.
- 3+ years of senior management or General Manager experience.
- Experience leading multiple departments and managing P&L performance.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to motivate teams and drive operational excellence.
- Experience in restoration, construction, property services, insurance, or a related industry is highly preferred.
- Financial acumen with budgeting and business planning experience.
- Strong customer service mindset with excellent relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and prioritize effectively.
- Valid driver's license.
- Restoration industry experience (IICRC certifications are an asset)
- Construction management experience
- Sales and business development experience
- Experience working with insurance claims
